The Hawkes Family is a special one. These guys are my brother and sister-in-law. They have these 4 adorable kids that I just love. And they are growing up seriously so fast! I can’t believe little Kamden is nearly 5 months old! Plus, the older three keep growing like weeds! We met up for their session at a favorite of mine, Green Canyon. I love being a Green Canyon Family Photographer in Logan Utah.
These guys live in the Provo area so we don’t see them super often. When we do we always try to make the best of it. This week they are on spring break so they are in town in Logan to visit. Angela and I decided to get some last-minute family photos on Sunday. The weather, however, decided it wasn’t too sure about that. The dark clouds and rain came in just before we were going to take photos. Luckily the weather cleared up just in time for us to grab the last little bit of light before the sunset came on. And of course the clouds left so the sun was super bright for a minute. Oh well, we still captured some fun photos.
Angela had hoped for some blossoms but of course Cache Valley is behind the times with the rest of Utah and we don’t have any yet. We wanted to try a spot we haven’t used before with these guys so we choose Green Canyon. Plus, Green Canyon is usually pretty year round!
Now with 4 kids family photos can be hectic and sometimes hard. These guys were awesome, regardless of the few tears that were shed. We still managed to get some cute personalities in their photos.
Andy was there with me and he was a huge help. The kids did great looking at him making faces and helping out. I always love when he is there with me.
