April 2024 was a month to remember, especially for my nephew Dylan and his beautiful bride, Kenadie. Their wedding day was nothing short of magical, even as the weather tried to throw us a curveball. Right before their ceremony, the skies opened up and it started to rain. Despite the unexpected downpour, they carried on with their plans, creating an unforgettable outdoor ceremony that was both intimate and personal. Smith Barn Lewiston Wedding
A Delightful Rain-Kissed Ceremony
The rain added a unique charm to the ceremony, with droplets gently falling as Dylan and Kenadie exchanged their vows. The ceremony took place at the picturesque Smith Barn in Lewiston, Utah. The barn’s rustic elegance provided the perfect backdrop for this special moment. The contrast between the raindrops and the lush greenery created a romantic atmosphere that was both serene and beautiful.
Delicious Lunch by Mo Bettah’s
After the ceremony, guests were treated to a delicious lunch catered by Mo Bettah’s. The food was a hit, adding to the overall enjoyment of the day. The casual, yet flavorful meal was a perfect fit for the laid-back vibe that Dylan and Kenadie envisioned for their wedding.
A Laid-Back but Elegant Reception
Following the lunch, the reception continued with a laid-back but elegant western barn feel. The Smith Barn’s rustic charm shone through as the perfect venue for this celebration. The boys looked dashing in their olive green Carhartt vests, while the ladies stunned in blush pink dresses. The combination of these colors was both vibrant and sophisticated, adding to the visual appeal of the day. With dancing, cake cutting, mingling and more their reception was full of laughter and love.
Gorgeous Outdoor Photos
As the day progressed, the rain cleared up, and we were blessed with a beautiful afternoon. The clear skies allowed us to capture some gorgeous outdoor photos that will be cherished forever. The natural light after the rain, combined with the stunning surroundings of the Smith Barn, created perfect conditions for photography. From candid moments to posed portraits, every shot was a testament to the love and joy shared by Dylan and Kenadie.

From the rain-kissed ceremony to the delicious food and the elegant yet relaxed reception, every detail came together to create a day that Dylan and Kenadie, along with their guests, will never forget. It was an honor to capture these moments and be a part of such a special day in our family’s history.
