Little O is 9 Months old and I can’t believe the time has gone by so quickly! It seems like just yesterday we were doing her newborn photos. I just can’t believe it’s been 9 months! But boy is she a doll. She has the cutest personality, like ever. And those faces she makes … they are adorable! You need to check them all out!
Her mom and I go back a long time. In fact, about 25 years or so. We met in elementary school way back when. Oh Geeze, I feel old. Nevermind that, but we hung out and played on the playground together back then. It was good to have all these fun girls live around my area. When they contacted me to capture their maternity and newborn photos last year I was thrilled! They didn’t find out what they were having until the delivery room. Such a cool experience for them and so rare these days!
We met up for their 9 month session while they were in Cache Valley. They live outside the valley so I really appreciate them coming over for their studio session. Mom had the most darling headbands and outfits. This girl is dressed so well. If you recall, she was the little old lady for Halloween and her 6 months session! They are so creative with everything she wears.
My favorite part about her session is her faces. She LOVES that tongue. Like seriously. It’s the cutest but makes me laugh at the same time. We got way more pictures of her with her tongue out than any other face. But we also managed to capture some other really adorable faces from O. I just love seeing their personalities shine like hers.
She is 4 days older than my niece and they share the same name, though it’s spelled differently. That makes girl is extra special! Mom and I are already talking 1 Year Cake Smash session ideas and I can’t wait to see what she does with her cake. Thanks VanDam Family!
