This family was a blast to work with. Plus, a pretty cool location to say the least. I headed up to Station Creek. which is above Preston, for this session. They own a house/ranch up there that they call “Home”. They decided they wanted to use their property and I loved the idea! It was the perfect spot for their family pictures, plus a few of the buildings were old and rustic and the perfect backdrop for their session. Hansen Family Utah Family Photographer
I’ve known the Hansen family for quite some time. Ericka and I have been on the Relay for Life Committee together for 10 years or more. And I’ve known Jason since high school. It was fun to see their family and the kids all grown up! I headed up there the Friday after Thanksgiving. Kim and Jay were so welcoming to their house. I walked in and it smelled like cookies. They were baking sugar cookies and enjoying the afternoon! Everyone was laid back and easy to work with! The kids were super great and adorable/handsome. MaKenna was quite the poser and so excited to smile for her pictures. Bryson and Andy were really good too! Jay and Jason were at least accommodating like most guys! Men/boys don’t always love pictures but at least they smiled!
We took pictures in front of two barns/buildings as well as in the road with the mountains in the background. Such a great view they have! They were all so nice to work with and made my job super easy! I’m so happy to have captured this family on their property!
Ericka planned out their attire and I am LOVING those colors and the styles they used. I love the mix of colors and how it all came together!
