Hey all, It’s Jessica again! I was so excited to finally have this one year session! His mom and Stacey have been planning it for over a month, so the anticipation was high. I really can’t believe how much cuteness can be packed into such a tiny human! And how much they grow up in just a year’s time! Parker one year cake smash session was perfection!
Stacey has been friends with Parker’s mom forever, so getting to photograph her family is a complete joy. We started off with his newborns and were so excited to see him again for this special session. Parker has the biggest personality! He was full of smiles, giggles, and loved taking pictures.
We started off with the little man in such a handsome jumper. You can’t go wrong with these little guys in big chairs, it just does somethin to ya! He was so proud to be able to stand by it too. Such fun and exciting milestones during this time. To follow we brightened things up with the white wood background. We were able to capture some great smiles in his adorable plaid shirt. And the set up was perfect. I love the look of the draped swaddles, to add more color.
Some of my personal favorites are when we brought out one of our new backgrounds. This chevron background has more of a boyish feel and we are just loving it! Mom put him in a first birthday onesie with suspenders. It was to die for. He got such a kick out of smiling for us and playing with his balloons. However, as you know no one year session would be complete without a cake smash. Parker’s mom picked the Cookie Monster theme and Stacey found all the supplies. It turned out absolutely perfect!
Parker did so well with the cake smash. We got so many great shots of him checking out the cake, and sneaking in some tastes. I love the cookie monster cake. It went perfectly with the cookie
banner, the balloons, and the puffs. Blue frosting is so fun to work with because you can see exactly how much the little Mr. enjoyed his cake. Parker couldn’t have been any more thrilled that we were letting him just have at that adorable cake. We really had a great session.
Thanks again to the Bradshaw family. You have a handsome boy on your hands. It was so fun to capture his personality. Happy Birthday Parker!
