A few months ago, I decided it was time to remodel our bedroom. We hadn’t made any major changes since we moved in 5 years ago. Wait, 5 years? Geez! We have had a red wall in our bedroom and we’ve loved it, but it was time for a change. Andy and I love to remodel and I am loving how this one turned out! I ordered a custom sign from the Chic Hunters Wife (now Hello Little Timber) . She was at a couple of the local craft fairs previously and I bought a few small signs from her. While shopping, I saw her sign “Get Naked” and fell in love. I knew I wanted it hung on our bedroom wall but wasn’t ready and didn’t know what size. That was almost 2 years ago! Fast forward to this summer and I finally decided to measure and get it on order. I LOVE HOW IT TURNED OUT! It’s a large statement piece but a perfect fit above our headboard.
Next up was the wall. I wanted something different and a little unique. I had seen on pinterest a few ideas of a wood wall and thought they were so neat! However, finding the wood for the wall proved to be a little tricky. Using flooring was going to be VERY hard so I wanted something easier. I found a few vendors that had just what I wanted but they were WAY expensive. Not going to spend $2000 on the wall. Then one night I accidentally came across WayFair. I found just the wood I was looking for and ordered it the same night! (Here’s the exact wood I got if you are interested.) We got it a week or so later and I was so excited. It sticks to the wall so it’s super easy to install.
The installation wasn’t too bad. One night after work, Andy decided to start working on it and away we went. We stayed up until about 11 pm and were done. Andy caulked the seams a few days later and it came together perfectly.
The final touch was hanging the sign. A perfect fit! I sure love how it all came together!

In Home Sessions are also limited on Qty of props/backdrops we bring. Book your studio session to take full advantage of the props and supplies we have!
