Buttars Christmas Mini | Logan Utah Family Photographer

This a little different session from my normal. I’ve only ever photographed horses once. That was for a bridal session this summer. This session was totally different and I loved it. Nancy and Gary Buttars are some amazing people. I’ve been blessed to know them through family as Nancy is my mom’s cousin. I also know them through their work with the Logan Eagles. They spend so much time giving back to charities in Logan with the Eagles Club and I have loved going to play bingo. If you’ve never been, please take the time to go! It’s so much fun and always goes to a great cause. They also did a duck derby this past summe for Shriners Hospital that was a blast. Thanks for all you do to give back to the community you guys! You are inspiring.

These two and their horses were awesome and so easy! Their session was done just a few blocks from their house by the Logan River and was less than 30 minutes. Their horses are so well mannered and were awesome. Seriously fun. I love that they wanted to incorporate their horses, especially as the one is getting older. My dogs are my family and I love when people use their pets in their photos. It means so much to me to be able to capture these moments in time for them. Plus, they ordered a beautiful canvas that I can’t wait to deliver!
