A few months ago I joined a Marketing platform with other photographers. One of the prompts is to share a favorite childhood memory. This was a hard one to pick from. I had a great childhood. There were lots of fun things we did as a kid. So I decided to share multiple things in different posts. Today’s is the first of those posts on Night Games! Night Games. It was a standard thing in our neighborhood during the summer months. We played all sorts of games like kick the can, ghost in the graveyard, sardines, Fugitive, and more.
Back then it was the thing to do. We had a group of kids in our neighborhood and we all loved to get together. Kids ranging in ages that were 4-5 years older than me and 4-5 months younger than me. It didn’t matter the age, we all had fun!
We used to have a field next to our house we used for night games. It had a huge tree in it that tipped over we’d use to hide behind. Now, my parents garage sits on that field.
I think Kick The Can was my favorite game. Did you play night games? What is/was your favorite?
Oh, and just a few personal photos of me to share. Nothing associated with Night Games because I didn’t take photos back then but just some personal photos. And a couple of photos of our NIGHT SET UP with our tent! Newborns, Ah my favorite!
