A few weeks ago we did a Newborn Model call so we could try out some new props, styles, and editing techniques. We love doing these newborn calls so that we can A. Provide newborn photos to someone who might not otherwise get photos and B. so that we can practice and improve on our photography, posting and editing techniques. Mom and Grandma drove down from Preston, ID for this session! We so appreciate their willingness to drive to our studio! This gem was just shy of 3 weeks and was perfection for our session! So cute and sleepy! She did amazing for this model session.
She had a little bit of jaundice in her skin but otherwise was a healthy and happy little newborn. We wanted to do some fall set ups with those colors and feel in mind. I had these two set ups ready. I was hoping to at least get 1 but wanted to be ready to do two in case she was good! And of course, she was so we did both! I love the look of the cotton, green, cream and wood in the first set up. That might be one of my favorites! The second set up I used some fall leaves and decor.

Studio Sessions are some of our FAVORITE! In our Studio, we control the lights, props, backdrops and even the temperature to an extent but we also offer in home newborn sessions! We have a full list of props and backdrops that we can travel with or you can come to us and have access to them all! There is an additional travel charge for in home sessions. In Home Sessions are also limited on Qty of props/backdrops we bring. Book your studio session to take full advantage of the props and supplies we have! Or go for the lifestyle look and we’ll come to you! Either way, we would LOVE to capture your newborn baby’s first professional photos.
