Race Car Cake Smash Logan Utah

Our little dude turned 1! We decided to do a RACE CAR themed cake smash and we were so thrilled to put this awesome theme together. Dad loves everything car related and used to drive in Stock Car Races so this was an easy theme for us. Super cute and was actually the first time we did something like this! As a mom and the photographer I sometimes get to do a little more than I might have otherwise. I bought this adorable Race ouftit and had some other clothes gifted to us. The crown, the topper, cake, balloon arch, gosh! It was all so much fun. I pulled out this adorable little CAR prop my dad made me Years ago and Karson loved it. We also got balloons from Pop Pop Horary Utah for his party so I had to take some photos of that too.

Karson did amazing with his cake smash. He loved the cake, picked at the frosting, painted the floor and then was DONE. I usually can remove the cake stand and coax some more cute photos out of kids, but of course, my kid was not having it and he was done when he was done. Cries and all. It was still adorable. I love this little man and I’m so thankful to get to capture photos of my cute kids.

About this session:

Backdrop was huge for us. I found this one on Amazon for a great price and it actually was a great quality considering! The Balloon arch I made with my sister. I found some of our race car toys and Race Car Lego models to use for decor. The Cake for the Cake Smash was from our standard Temptation Cupcake. The Topper my awesome friend Kristina made for us. I ordered that Race Car Crown on Etsy from Sweet Cake and Sassy Pants and the Race outfit is also from Esty shop Little Miss Atasha. SO DANG CUTE. A vendor we’ve worked with before donated the little 1 Cars Onsie and bottoms so we had to use those because they are so dang cute! They are from needles knots n bows In utah! And last but not least, I ordered a ONE shirt for Karson from my client and friend Pebble and Ry. It all went together amazing and of course, Karson rocked it!

In Studio First Year Packages are the best but we love outdoor sessions too!! Much as we try to use the studio, outdoor sessions can be super awesome as well! Watch your little one grow during their first year and let us help. Because this package is perfect for that! Sessions at 6, 9 and 12 months make for the best first year memories ever. I adore getting to see all my clients during these ages. Therefore, these ages are just the best! Cake Smash sessions at their 1 year appointments are usually my favorite! We LOVE doing Cake Smash sessions for both boys and girls!
