This newborn mini session was such a fun one—and extra special too! A few years ago, we photographed big brother as a newborn, and it was such a joy to welcome this sweet family back to the studio. This time, Grandma booked the session, and we loved seeing everyone again as they celebrated their newest little cowboy. Cache Valley Newborn Photography Cowboy Theme
As a Logan Utah newborn photographer, I get to meet the most wonderful families, and this session was no exception. Their handsome new addition did so well during the shoot—he slept beautifully, and we were able to capture some truly precious images, even in our shorter mini session format.
Mom and Grandma had requested a western-inspired setup, and I was all in! They brought in Dad’s cowboy hat, boots, a rope, and some other rustic props to tie the theme together. I even ordered the cutest newborn-sized cowboy hat from No. 2 Willow Lane and had it shipped overnight so we’d be ready in time. It was totally worth it—the final look came together perfectly.
We used warm brown and soft cream tones to create a cozy, earthy western vibe that worked so well with the cowboy elements. Even though we only did a couple of setups due to the mini session timing, the results are absolutely adorable. This little guy rocked the cowboy look, and I just love how these images turned out.

Additionally, working with an experienced Utah newborn photographer means your session is always personalized.
You’ll have access to a wide variety of props, wraps, backdrops, and curated setups.
While many clients come to our Logan Utah studio, we also offer in-home lifestyle sessions.
However, in-home sessions include a travel fee and fewer props—but they provide a relaxed, natural feel.
If you prefer the full prop selection, studio sessions are the way to go.
Either way, we would love to photograph your little one.
