There is something so special about welcoming a new baby into the family, especially when two excited older siblings are waiting to shower her with love! As a Logan Utah newborn photographer, I absolutely love capturing these first precious moments, from tiny fingers and toes to those sweet family connections that make every newborn session unique.
This beautiful baby girl was an absolute dream to photograph! Her session was filled with soft colors, delicate floral backgrounds, adorable little bows, and plenty of sleepy newborn sweetness. Plus, we made sure to include some beautiful family and sibling portraits to celebrate this exciting new chapter for her family.
Pretty Pastels and Floral Newborn Photography
For this little sweetheart’s newborn portraits, we incorporated a beautiful mix of pastel colors and soft textures. One of my favorite setups featured a pale yellow wrap, a sweet white bow, and a gorgeous floral background with hints of pink, yellow, and blue.
The combination was so soft and feminine, and it complemented her delicate newborn features perfectly. I especially loved the close-up images showing her tiny toes, peaceful expression, and those adorable little hands tucked beneath her chin.
Next, we switched things up with a warm, neutral setup featuring a rustic bowl, soft brown wrap, and mustard-yellow accents. The colorful polka-dot background added a playful touch while keeping the focus right where it belongedāon this beautiful baby girl!
Finally, we incorporated a classic pink wrap with a delicate lace bow. Paired with a soft floral background and a little white bed, these portraits were timeless, sweet, and full of beautiful details.
As a Utah newborn photographer, I love having a variety of wraps, headbands, props, and backgrounds available so each family can enjoy a gallery with different colors and styles.
Including Big Brother and Big Sister in Newborn Photos
One of the sweetest parts of this session was photographing this little girl’s older brother and sister!
Big sister was so proud to hold her new baby sister, and big brother joined in for some adorable sibling portraits. These are the kinds of images that become even more meaningful as the years go by.
We also captured photographs of the entire family together, including some especially sweet moments with Mom and Dad.
While posed newborn portraits are always beautiful, I believe family photographs are just as important. Babies grow and change so quickly, and those early days as a family of five deserve to be remembered.

Newborn sessions are ideally scheduled during the first two weeks after birth, when babies are often sleepiest and most comfortable in those sweet curled-up poses. However, I also photograph older newborns, so don’t worry if those first couple of weeks have already passed!

Studio newborn sessions are some of our absolute favorites at Stacey Hansen Photography! As a Cache Valley newborn photographer, we love working with families to capture those first sweet days.
Our studio, located in Logan, Utah, (Technically in River Heights, Utah) is calm, cozy, and perfect for newborn photography. Itās fully equipped with controlled lighting, beautiful props, clean backdrops, and a warm, soothing atmosphere. Because we manage every detail, weāre able to create timeless images with soft tones and beautiful setups.
Additionally, working with an experienced Utah newborn photographer means your session is always personalized. Youāll have access to a wide variety of props, wraps, backdrops, and curated setups. While many clients come to our Logan Utah studio, we also offer in-home lifestyle sessions. However, in-home sessions include a travel fee and fewer propsābut they provide a relaxed, natural feel. If you prefer the full prop selection, studio sessions are the way to go.
