Spring Newborn Session | Utah Newborn Photographer
There is something extra special about getting to photograph growing families, and this session was one of those full-circle moments I absolutely love as a Utah newborn photographer. A couple of years ago, I had the honor of photographing big sister as a newborn—and now I got to meet her sweet baby sister!
This beautiful March session was filled with all the soft, dreamy spring tones that I just can’t get enough of this time of year. From blush pinks to warm yellows and soft purples, the colors were perfect for welcoming this little one into the world.
When she first arrived, she was wide awake and curious about everything going on around her. Those bright-eyed moments are always so fun to capture, especially for parents who want to remember every little expression. After a little while though, she finally gave in—and once she did, she slept so good! We were able to move through the setups and get those cozy, curled-up newborn poses everyone loves.
One of my favorite parts of this session was incorporating those soft textures and light, airy backdrops that really highlight just how tiny and perfect she is. And let’s be honest—those tiny toes and squishy cheeks never get old. Plus, family photos are a must!
As a Logan Utah newborn photographer, I love creating sessions that feel timeless and relaxed while still capturing each baby’s unique personality. Whether they’re wide awake or fast asleep, every session tells a different story—and this one was such a sweet mix of both.
Welcoming a new baby is such an incredible time, and I’m so grateful to be trusted to capture these memories for families again and again. Watching your families grow truly is the best part of what I do.

About Our Studio Newborn Sessions
Studio newborn sessions are some of our absolute favorites at Stacey Hansen Photography! As a Cache Valley newborn photographer, we love working with families to capture those first sweet days.
Our studio, located in Logan, Utah, (Technically in River Heights, Utah) is calm, cozy, and perfect for newborn photography. It’s fully equipped with controlled lighting, beautiful props, clean backdrops, and a warm, soothing atmosphere. Because we manage every detail, we’re able to create timeless images with soft tones and beautiful setups.
Additionally, working with an experienced Utah newborn photographer means your session is always personalized. You’ll have access to a wide variety of props, wraps, backdrops, and curated setups. While many clients come to our Logan Utah studio, we also offer in-home lifestyle sessions. However, in-home sessions include a travel fee and fewer props—but they provide a relaxed, natural feel. If you prefer the full prop selection, studio sessions are the way to go.
Either way, we would love to photograph your little one. As your Logan Utah newborn photographer, we’re honored to preserve these special first moments.
