Welcoming a new baby into the world is always magical. But this session felt especially sweet. Not only did we get to photograph the most adorable newborn boy, but we also captured the special bond he shares with his big brother. Every moment was filled with love—and a touch of fun, too! To begin the session, we started with three solo setups for baby boy. First, we created a cozy little camping scene using our miniature tent. It was the perfect way to bring a sense of adventure to his first portraits. His tiny size next to the tent made everything even more heart-melting.
Next, we moved on to a bucket pose. This setup featured our favorite outdoor backdrop—complete with small trees and soft little stars. The scene felt peaceful, almost like a quiet night under the stars. It highlighted his sweet features beautifully.
Finally, we wrapped up the solo setups with something simple and classic. Using a white wood backdrop, we placed baby in a tiny white bed and wrapped him in soft blue. The clean, minimal look drew all the attention to his tiny expressions. Sometimes, simplicity really is the most powerful.
After the individual portraits, it was time to bring in big brother. These sibling photos were some of our favorites from the session. Big brother was so gentle and proud—his love for the baby was written all over his face. Naturally, we captured a few shots of him by himself as well. He was full of personality and made the session extra fun.
All in all, this session was such a joy. From dreamy setups to meaningful connections, every image tells part of this family’s story. Most of all, you can see just how loved this little guy already is.

Studio Newborn Sessions are some of our FAVORITE! As a Cache Valley Newborn Photographer, we take pride in offering a controlled environment in our Logan, Utah studio where we manage lights, props, backdrops, and even the temperature to create perfect newborn photos. Furthermore, as a Utah Newborn Photographer, we also provide in-home lifestyle newborn sessions! We have a full list of props and backdrops that we can travel with, or you can come to us and access them all. However, there is an additional travel charge for in-home sessions, and in-home sessions are limited in the number of props and backdrops we bring. Consequently, booking your studio session allows you to take full advantage of the props and supplies we have. Alternatively, you can opt for the lifestyle look, and we’ll come to you! Either way, we would LOVE to capture your newborn baby’s first professional photos.
