I love Valentine’s Day. It’s a special day of the year. While we should not reserve Valentine’s Day as the only day for telling people we love them it’s still a fun day to celebrate love. And what better way to celebrate than with Valentine Mini Sessions! I just love coming up with this mini session. Though, my set ups are often simple and clean they are still fun and I hope my clients love them.
This girl is darling. I’ve been taking photos of Lily for over a year and have LOVED seeing her grow up. She has the most adorable smile, when she will smile for me. This session she was all giggles and wanted to play. I love that about her personality. Outdoor photos definitely make that easier than inside the studio but we managed to capture her and her smile.
I loved catching up with her mom while we were taking pictures. Chandee is such an amazing lady and I’ve so loved getting to know her better. She and my sister were friends in high school. Every time I see her we just chat about life and what we’ve both been up to. Genuine friends. And I love that about her and many of my other clients.
Back to Lily. She smiled so good for the first set up. The second set up we grabbed some balloons I had and she LOVED THEM. Loved them so much she just wanted to play. Which is fun in its self. Kira was with me on this session and she wanted to play with Lily and the balloons too. We did manage to talk her into a few smiles here and there. Oh and we got a silly face and a tongue face too. Oh that girl!
