Welcome Our December Newborn Star: A Sweet Addition to a Family of Four
This month, we had the privilege of photographing an adorable newborn girl, and what a magical session it was! This little lady joined her family of four, including a doting big sister who absolutely adores her. For this session, we leaned into the festive spirit with a cozy Christmas setup. One highlight was the custom red wrap featuring her name, which added a personal and sentimental touch to the photos. Paired with our tiny reindeer stuffie, it made for an irresistible holiday-themed image. Her little hands holding that reindeer? Just perfection!
In addition to the Christmas setup, we explored a variety of looks to highlight this baby girl’s sweet, delicate features:
- Classic and Timeless White Wood Background:
We used a vintage antique bowl with a soft light pink furry layer for texture. The addition of a dainty gold bow completed the look, creating an elegant and timeless feel. - Carmel Flokati Rug Setup:
For a cozy and earthy vibe, we placed her on one of our large caramel-colored flokati rugs. She was snugly wrapped in a muted purple wrap, accented with an adorable heart prop and our soft white bear with a matching bonnet. This setup was simple yet so stunning—perfect for showcasing her peaceful little expressions. - Family Photos with a Christmas Touch:
We wrapped up the session with beautiful family portraits. The snowy backdrop gave just the right hint of holiday magic, while the matching outfits for the two sisters added a delightful cohesive touch. Mom and Dad looked radiant, and together, this family of four was picture-perfect.
These sessions remind us of the magic of newborn photography—capturing moments that are fleeting but so incredibly meaningful. This baby girl’s session was filled with love, laughter, and creativity, and we couldn’t be happier with how it all came together.

About Studio Newborn Sessions
Studio Newborn Sessions are some of our FAVORITE! As a Cache Valley Newborn Photographer, we take pride in offering a controlled environment in our Logan, Utah studio where we manage lights, props, backdrops, and even the temperature to create perfect newborn photos. Furthermore, as a Utah Newborn Photographer, we also provide in-home lifestyle newborn sessions! We have a full list of props and backdrops that we can travel with, or you can come to us and access them all. However, there is an additional travel charge for in-home sessions, and in-home sessions are limited in the number of props and backdrops we bring. Consequently, booking your studio session allows you to take full advantage of the props and supplies we have. Alternatively, you can opt for the lifestyle look, and we’ll come to you! Either way, we would LOVE to capture your newborn baby’s first professional photos.
