This extended family session was one of my favorites for this year. I’ve known Kate for a few years as I’ve done their family pictures and her kids pictures. I was thrilled when she asked me to capture their extended family session. Her parents and brother live in Northern Cache Valley so we decided to do something north of Smithfield since they guys would just be getting done with work on the farm. I love how these turned out! We picked the Trenton Bridge which is actually a favorite as well. I don’t get to use it too often because it’s pretty far north but it was perfect for this family session! We met up right before the sun went down and I am in love with the light. The light, the bridge and their color coordinating clothing choice made this family session perfect! I love the mix of blacks and grays with these guys. It really meshed well without being the exact same.
Plus, let’s talk about a fun family. These guys were awesome to work with. The kids all did amazing and were so easy to pose. We laughed a little and jotted out of the road for a car or two but overall was so much fun!
