This family session has been in the works for months. We had it planned for December and then with the crazy holidays and work schedules had to push it back to January. Saturday was a beautiful and sunny day, perfect for a session… except for the super cold temperatures in Cache Valley. Luckily, we got to use this big Barn in Avon for their session so we were indoors a little. Anything to keep in out of the cold is a great idea, especially with the little kids we had! It was still a cold session but we managed to get done super fast and got all sorts of combinations for them!
I have known Kelsie for a while now as we did her newborn session for Jaxxie and have started their first year package. Then I met her sister-in-law Shannon. I did her newborn photos for Navyie, as well and we’ve started their First Year Package. I love when I get to see clients more and more! Plus little newborn babies during their first year are my favorite!
We met up at the Barn in Avon and I met the rest of the family. Mom and Dad were so nice and welcoming. I actually knew Bengi from high school; it is such a small world! Their family was amazing and fun. They were so easy to work with and a blast to photography. I love the colors they used for their session. The reds are great for winter! They all coordinate so well together. Clothing and attire are an important part of any photography session and this family hit it right!
Almost everyone was a happy camper for their session. Little M was not too sure about smiling. I can’t blame her in the cold, though. The boys did amazing and are so handsome! The two babies did super well for as little as they are. Both drooled like crazy, well Jaxxie more than Navyie. It’s still cute though!
