Oh my gosh! This session turned out better than I had expected! During the Winter Months I have been prone to run out of creativity and be slightly slower than I’d like.. mostly due to the cold weather. Though, This year I have stayed steady but wanted to step out of my box and try something new. I looked around for a new idea that’d be fun that I could do in the studio and found an idea with a little girl in curlers. Knowing Kira, she wouldn’t nearly want to sit and take pictures for me so I asked my great client and friend Alisa if MaKinlee would maybe want to do it. She said yes!!
Next, I set out to find the perfect couch/chair. I found this little pink gem on KSL and fell in love! My mom drove down to Farr West with me to pick it up late one night because the lady wouldn’t hold it for me, which I don’t blame her, it’s adorable! I was originally thinking it was much larger but when I got there I fell in LOVE. It was beyond perfect! It fit nicely in my jeep and it’s light weight! I had it in the studio for a few weeks and Max (my dog) decided it was his new favorite spot.
Alisa ordered this tank top off Etsy. It’s the perfect fit for this session! She took care of the dress up props and curlers. It all came together perfectly. I couldn’t be happier about it all. The funny thing is, MaKinlee told mom when they got in the car that night she was maybe going to be shy. OH NO! She only was for a minute but her sassy personality and spunk show right through. I love it. Seriously a fun and adorable session. One I’ll never forget! She’s a beauty, right?
