Extended Family Sessions can sometimes be amazing, fun and easy. And… well, that’s exactly what this session was! I’ve known Whitney for a few years and was thrilled when she contacted me to do their extended family session. And we fit them in super last-minute which worked out great! Whitney’s brother is in the Marines and was only going t be home for a short period of time and they wouldn’t know when he’d be home until last-minute. I love being able to fit clients in last-minute like that and I love that they asked me.
We deliberated over locations for a few days and they picked the Old Logan Coach Building on 3rd south in Logan. I love that building. It has some super pretty trees that were colorful for this session. It was perfect!
We started out with individual family photos of each group, entire family, just the kids, grandparents and kids, siblings, and more. I love that we were able to capture so many shots for this family. We finished just before we lost our light. It was such a pretty day and the weather was awesome.
I am loving the fall colors these guys wore! They coordinated so well. The mix of flannel and the accessories on them makes photos so much better! Oh, and I love the two dogs. Whiskey is about a year old and Bella is just a few months (or weeks, I can’t remember!) They were so much fun to have. I have two fur pups myself and they are totally part of my family. It makes my heart happy when clients bring their dogs!
