As a Logan Utah Newborn Photographer, every session brings a new adventure, especially when capturing newborn photos of adorable babies. In June 2024, I had the pleasure of photographing the third baby boy for the Anderson family. Even though he was awake for most of his session, we managed to capture some perfect poses, showcasing his adorable features. Challenges and Triumphs
Newborn photography can be challenging, particularly when the baby is awake. It requires quick thinking and adaptability to achieve the desired poses. Despite not getting the exact ones mom wanted, we captured some pretty close seconds. This adaptability is crucial for any Logan Utah Newborn Photographer, ensuring that even the most active babies are beautifully photographed.
Highlight Poses and Themes
One of my favorite poses from this session was the baby boy in a white bucket with a blue background, laying on a baseball. This pose not only highlights his cuteness but also ties into the family’s love for baseball. Mom and dad have incorporated baseball-themed photos for all their boys’ photo shoots, and I love that we can add variety while maintaining this cherished theme.

Newborn photography is all about capturing fleeting moments and creating lasting memories. Studio Newborn Sessions are some of our FAVORITE! As a Cache Valley Newborn Photographer, we take pride in offering a controlled environment in our Logan, Utah studio where we manage lights, props, backdrops, and even the temperature to create perfect newborn photos. Furthermore, as a Utah Newborn Photographer, we also provide in-home lifestyle newborn sessions! We have a full list of props and backdrops that we can travel with, or you can come to us and access them all. However, there is an additional travel charge for in-home sessions, and in-home sessions are limited in the number of props and backdrops we bring. Consequently, booking your studio session allows you to take full advantage of the props and supplies we have. Alternatively, you can opt for the lifestyle look, and we’ll come to you! Either way, we would LOVE to capture your newborn baby’s first professional photos.
