Oh I love newborns. Even when they aren’t happy and they fuss, cry or wont sleep for pictures. It is still one of if not my favorite type of session to photograph. I enjoy seeing the new parents love for their little miracle. This session was just like that. Kristie contacted me and wanted a mini session to capture a few photos of their new family of three. They decided on Juniper Trail in Logan Canyon because they are outdoorsy people and her husband is a trail biker. I loved it. Though it was a little windy and colder than I had hoped for Sage did amazing for those conditions. Usually newborns are on one side of the spectrum or the other: Sleep or not happy. Unfortunately, Sage wasn’t too sure about this session but we managed to get some photos of her with mom and dad anyways.
