Earlier this year, we had the honor of photographing a newborn boy who spent several weeks in the NICU. Born prematurely, he had a challenging start to life. However, once he was healthy enough to come to our studio, we were able to capture his precious moments. Preparing for the Session
Throughout the weeks, his mom kept us updated on his progress. We rescheduled the session multiple times to ensure he was ready and healthy enough for his first photoshoot. Finally, the day came when we could welcome this little warrior into our studio.
Themed Poses: Football, Baseball, and More
Transitioning into the session, we started with a heartwarming football-themed pose. Using a cute blanket and a football with his name, we created a memorable setup. Additionally, we captured a charming baseball-themed photo, continuing the sports theme that the family loved. The variety in themes allowed us to showcase different aspects of his personality and interests.

Incorporating our little car prop, we posed him sleeping at the wheel, which turned out to be an adorable and creative shot. Studio Newborn Sessions are some of our FAVORITE! As a Cache Valley Newborn Photographer, we take pride in offering a controlled environment in our Logan, Utah studio where we manage lights, props, backdrops, and even the temperature to create perfect newborn photos. Furthermore, as a Utah Newborn Photographer, we also provide in-home lifestyle newborn sessions! We have a full list of props and backdrops that we can travel with, or you can come to us and access them all. However, there is an additional travel charge for in-home sessions, and in-home sessions are limited in the number of props and backdrops we bring. Consequently, booking your studio session allows you to take full advantage of the props and supplies we have. Alternatively, you can opt for the lifestyle look, and we’ll come to you! Either way, we would LOVE to capture your newborn baby’s first professional photos.
