We started with our rustic log bed scene—complete with a hand-painted forest and moonlit sky backdrop. This setup is always a favorite, especially for parents who love nature or want a unique outdoorsy theme. Next, we featured our beloved airplane prop nestled under golden stars and soft clouds. It’s a perfect nod to big dreams and new beginnings.
Our bucket and night sky setup was another magical moment. The soft mossy texture paired with the dark, starry background created a serene and peaceful look. It’s one of our go-to setups for showcasing a newborn’s gentle features.
To finish off, we brought out our camping tent scene—complete with faux campfire, lantern, and trees. This adventure-ready setup adds such a playful, creative flair to any newborn session. It’s especially loved by families who enjoy camping or the great outdoors.
Of course, no session is complete without mom and dad. We captured some sweet, snuggly moments between the new parents and their baby boy. These images always tug at the heartstrings and become treasured keepsakes for years to come.

Studio Newborn Sessions are some of our FAVORITE! As a Cache Valley Newborn Photographer, we take pride in offering a controlled environment in our Logan, Utah studio where we manage lights, props, backdrops, and even the temperature to create perfect newborn photos. Furthermore, as a Utah Newborn Photographer, we also provide in-home lifestyle newborn sessions! We have a full list of props and backdrops that we can travel with, or you can come to us and access them all. However, there is an additional travel charge for in-home sessions, and in-home sessions are limited in the number of props and backdrops we bring. Consequently, booking your studio session allows you to take full advantage of the props and supplies we have. Alternatively, you can opt for the lifestyle look, and we’ll come to you! Either way, we would LOVE to capture your newborn baby’s first professional photos.
