Oh these poppy fields are so much fun. We met up in Mantua on a Sunday morning. I was expecting to be battling photographers for the field and trying to work around people in our photographs and backgrounds. I was pleasantly surprised to be the only ones there, the entire session. It was only about 25 minutes but still. I was amazed! I guess I know when to head there again next year!
Poppies are unique as they only bloom for about a 2-3 week period in the beginning of summer. By the time they bloom and sessions get scheduled the field is usually tramped on and of good use. We sure lucked out this year, it was perfection. And Summer (that’s her name 🙂 ) Did awesome! She nailed it. She’s getting more used to me and playing around while taking pictures but I think she rocked it!
