Oh how I love capturing newborns. There is just something about a little baby at 1 or 2 weeks old that makes my heart sing happy songs. This little guy was seriously adorable. This handsome little guy is my cousin and his girlfriend’s little boy. They are the cutest couple! We took their maternity photos a month or so ago and I had a blast! Their little boy looks like dad in my opinion. I love when he raised his eye brows and had a bunch of forehead rolls. Totally a hunk.
Kaylee and I had talked about newborns for a while. They had a couple of ideas they wanted to use so I made sure to incorporate those into this session. First of all, the red blanket that says Little Man! OH MY GOODNESS! It’s adorable. I bought this little red bucket about a month ago and hadn’t used it yet so I was super excited that it matched their blanket. Next up was the antlers! Paul is a hunter through and through so we made sure to capture that photo for them. I also couldn’t resist using my camping set up with these guys! Wade is going to be a pro at all this outdoor stuff one of these days when he grows up!
We also used a couple of new things with this guy! I tried a new light blue fabric from Roses and Ruffles. I also just got this little train from my Dad. He wanted to try another Train in a new color. This one is smaller and perfect for newborns! Right after their session I had another cousin in the studio with their little girl. We decided to do a quick photo of the two cousins together so they could give it to our Grandma. It’s fun to see them next to each other!

Studio Sessions are some of our FAVORITE! In our Studio, we control the lights, props, backdrops and even the temperature to an extent but we also offer in home newborn sessions! We have a full list of props and backdrops that we can travel with or you can come to us and have access to them all! There is an additional travel charge for in home sessions.
