Day 2 of the Winter 4×4 Jamboree event in Southern Utah was just as good as the first. However, day 2 we slept in (day 1 we were up at 6:30 after a 6 hour drive and arriving after midnight). It was a relaxing day and we just had our own schedule to keep. We headed to Sand Hollow around 10 am and drove the sand dunes with the two jeeps and kept our own trails and sights. We headed to a new trail and loved it. We actually saw a lot more ground on Day 2 because we weren’t waiting in lines to go up Obstacles. I didn’t get as many photos of rigs and neat shots but I did get some of us playing the awesome sand. Of course Kira loved it, every spot we went to it was time to dig in the sand. She started dumping sand on her head, arms and down her back to cool off. Oh boy, she’s cute.
Our family loves the adventures life takes us on. Kira’s first time at a Jeeping event with us and I think she did amazing!
It helped that Grandpa and Grandma were there too!
This was the only time we stopped because Kira wasn’t feeling well. I think she just wanted some chips which she perked right back up after dad cuddled her for a minute.
It was a beautiful day again. Blue skies, sunny, warm and Jeeping. I’m not sure a day in the middle of winter can get much better than that so close to home.
