Logan Utah Newborn Photographer | I love Photographing Newborns!

I’ve probably said this a million times but I just can’t get enough of these little people so I’m going to say it again. I absolutely LOVE being a newborn photographer. I just can’t explain the epic joy that I get when capturing a newborn’s photos. It makes my heart sing so loud and makes being a photographer totally worth it! Logan Utah Newborn Photographer

So, why do I love it? Here’s some of my whys….

  1. The people. I get to meet new clients that are high on life. Having a baby just makes people happy and full of emotion. I love that I get to talk to people about their lives. How they came up with babies name, how their delivery went, how their families or kids are getting along with a newborn, how they are sleeping/feeding, etc. I just get to talk to people about real life. I have always loved this. But now having been through pregnancy and child birth, I know first hand those feelings and the experiences and it means even more. The connection I get to make with my clients during their newborn session makes my day.
  2. The babies. Of course the babies! I have loved snuggling babies since day 1. I love that I get to sooth them, talk to them and even pose them. They often are easy and sleep but even I get some hard babies. Yes, it’s a challenge some days but it’s sooo worth it to see the final product and those adorable photos. Babies are amazing miracles and I love being able to pose them, wrap them, and adore them with headbands and hats. They make my life and photography journey so meaningful. They help me learn and tell a story. Their story.
  3. The cuteness. Babies are just cute right? Couple that with some adorable and awesome props, backdrops, poses, wraps, headbands, hats and more and who wouldn’t love this job? Yes it takes patience but man it’s totally worth the wait. It’s like a cuteness overload every day in my studio.
  4. Patience. Yes I love my job because of that. Some people have told me over and over that It takes so much patience to be a newborn photographer and yes they are right. To be honest, in my real life I’m not a patient person. Ask my hubby or mom. I do not like to wait. When I want something I go get it. When I want something done, I do it. But when it comes to photographing newborns that goes out the wall and having patience is what I’m all about. Newborns are just my jam.

I’ve been photographing newborns for over six years. I have come a long long way from day one. It’s been an amazing journey and one that I am so humbled to be apart of. Stacey Hansen Photography wouldn’t be here without amazing clients that continue to trust me and support me. That’s why being a Logan Utah Newborn Photographer rocks! Newborn photography thrives and I have loved it! Here’s some of my all time favorite newborn photographs we’ve created. Some new and some old. Enjoy!
