It was a beautiful Saturday. It had rained in the morning but the sun was shining and it was perfect. I headed to Salt Lake around 2 and it started to storm and rain on my way down. Ugh. We had planned on taking the Nielson 60th Anniversary Family pictures at the Salt Lake City temple but if it was raining those plans would have to change. Luckily, the rain stopped after Layton and then sun came out! It was such a pretty day. I love being a Salt Lake Utah Family Photographer.
We met at the Joseph Smith Memorial Building and then walked over to find some pretty flowers and locations at Temple Square. We took family pictures with these guys for about 45 minutes. I love the Spring Flowers there at the temple. Seriously, so pretty! Logan doesn’t have flowers blooming yet so it was a sure treat. Plus, this family was super easy-going and I had a blast capturing these photos for them.
Some of the family traveled from States away to be here for photos. I always love seeing families come together and the dedicate for those families to capture pictures together. My family hasn’t had a full family picture like ever or maybe years ago. It’s been a long time so I seriously look up to families who make the time to capture this special occasion.
We got lucky in those 45 minutes. Once we took the pictures on the steps at the temple the wind picked up and started to rain. The clouds came rolling in. It was time to be done. Luckily, we captured just what we needed!
