Andy and I recently celebrated our 10-year wedding anniversary with an incredible trip to Aruba. Between raising kids, work, and everyday chaos, we don’t often get time that’s just us. This week reminded me exactly why we started this journey together.
From the moment we stepped off the plane, Aruba felt like magic. The turquoise water, soft sand, and warm ocean breeze were the perfect mix of beauty and peace.
Exploring Aruba
We spent our days soaking up the sun (which it was HOT there), exploring hidden corners of the island, relaxing, eating good food, and connecting. Every day brought a new little adventure.
Some of my favorite memories include:
✨ Watching the sunset melt into the ocean each evening.
✨ Taking a bumpy off-road tour around the island (dusty, wild, and totally worth it).
✨ Swimming in the natural pools surrounded by rugged rocks and crashing waves.
✨ Discovering quiet beaches where the only footprints in the sand were ours.
✨ Enjoying dinner by the water, just the two of us, with the sound of waves in the background.
Each moment felt calm and full of gratitude. It was simple, peaceful, and perfect — a reminder that the best parts of life are often the quiet ones.
Reflecting on Ten Years
Ten years ago, we were just two people dreaming about a future together. Today, we’ve built that dream — three amazing kids, a home filled with love, and a life that keeps us laughing and growing.
Andy is my rock and my safe place. He’s steady when I’m scattered and always up for any wild idea I bring his way. This trip reminded me that our love has grown stronger with every adventure, challenge, and ordinary day in between.
Here’s to the Next Chapter
As we watched the last sunset of our trip, I couldn’t help but think about how far we’ve come. Every year, every milestone, every laugh — it’s all part of this beautiful story we’re writing together.
Here’s to ten years of love, laughter, and building this amazing life side by side. And here’s to the next ten, filled with even more sunsets, sandy toes, and spontaneous adventures. ❤️
