“Hole in One” Cake Smash: A Perfect First Birthday Celebration!

This recent cake smash session was truly a “hole in one”! When mom and dad told me they wanted a golf-themed setup for their little one’s first birthday, I couldn’t wait to help bring their vision to life. It all came together so beautifully, and we just had to share the details of this adorable milestone celebration.

Mom and dad were amazing in planning out the theme and brought along some fantastic props that made this session extra special. Here’s what made this setup so unique:

Props & Setup: Mom and dad brought golf clubs, a putting green, golf balls, a basket, and the cutest little golf outfit for their little guy. These personal touches really made the session feel authentic and tied the theme together perfectly.
Balloons: I added themed balloons in green, white, and blue for a pop of fun color and to capture that “country club chic” vibe.
The Cake: Temptation Cupcake Logan created a picture-perfect cake that fit the theme beautifully. From the design to the taste (based on how much was devoured), it was absolutely perfect for this special day.
The Star of the Show: Of course, the spotlight belonged to the birthday boy! He absolutely loved digging into his cake, and let’s just say he really got into the spirit of things. It was a delight to capture his messy and joyful moments!
Bath Time Add-On: After the cake smash, we transitioned to a fun bath session, and it was just as adorable as the main event. The bubbly bath was the perfect way to wind down after all the cake-filled fun—and made for some of the cutest photos!

This golf-themed cake smash was such a fun and unique way to celebrate turning one. I love how it captured the family’s creativity and the birthday boy’s joyful personality. These sessions are truly the perfect way to document this exciting milestone while letting your little one have the time of their life.
