This past weekend we celebrated my stepdaughter Kira’s Sweet 16 birthday, and what a magical night it turned out to be! The theme was a Fantasy Ball, and between the dresses, dancing, and decorations, it really felt like something out of a fairytale. Kira’s Sweet 16 Fantasy Ball
Kira’s mom put so much thought and effort into planning every detail, and it truly showed. I was happy to pitch in by ordering the cake, handling the food, and setting up the photo booth from our own business, The Time Capsule Photo Booth. It was such a hit with guests, and I loved seeing everyone have fun stepping in for silly, sweet, and memorable photos.
One of the biggest highlights of the evening was, of course, Kira’s dress. It was her birthday gift from her mom, and she’ll also get to wear it for prom. I had the chance to go with them to try on dresses beforehand, and it was such a special experience to see her light up when she found the one. She looked absolutely stunning.
The party itself was filled with fun from start to finish. There was a playground for the younger kids, a gnome scavenger hunt that kept everyone entertained, plenty of snacks, a lively dance floor, and so much laughter all around. Most importantly, Kira was surrounded by friends and family who love her dearly.
It was such a joy to celebrate this milestone with her. Kira, we are so proud of the young woman you’re becoming, and we hope your Sweet 16 is a memory you’ll carry with you forever.
