Ok, I might be a little biased because I created this set up AND because this is my niece but seriously! I just adore how this all turned out! Purple and Pink were so much fun to use for her One Year Cake Smash session. Not to mention, She just rocked this session! Let’s first talk about Miss O. She turns one this month! I can’t even believe it. I remember going the hospital to see her and take some fresh 48 pictures. She was born early and was in the NICU for a few days. She was so small! Her newborn session is still one of my all time favorites! The brother/sister pictures just melt my heart. She looked like a little version of my younger sister. Oh how she has so many traits from her mom. 🙂
Over the last year she sure has grown into her on little lady and has such a cute personality. Everywhere my sister goes she gets compliments on how cute Oakley is. I guess I have to agree! She is always smiling and happy, at least when I see her. She’s not walking yet but is crawling all over the place. She loves her big brother and to giggle.
I had been asking Shayna for a couple of weeks to give me a theme or color scheme for her session and she finally decided on purple, pink and silver. Oh how I love it. I got to use some creativity to come up with this and I have to say I’m so happy of the way it turned out. I learned some new tricks and ideas at the Creative Captures Photography Workshop I went to in Minnesota and I love that I got to try them out on my sister and niece!
