There is just something special about the delivery of a new baby. The emotions – excitement, love, pain, and pure joy. Birth is a delightful miracle to be involved so closely with. I didn’t witness this little ladies birth but I was there just hours later to capture some first moments. Especially when big brother met her for the first time! So Precious and adorable. He was so proud to be a big brother and sure loved his Big Brother Shirt and his big brother wrist band. Totally amazing to watch his interaction with baby Larson.
Born at 6:35 PM on April 20, she was 5 lbs 13 oz. She HAD curly hard hair… that is until they washed it. We’re secretly crossing our fingers hoping the curls come back or maybe just when it’s wet or has product in it. She was 18 inches long.
Shortly after I left she was admitted into the NICU. She was put on an IV, Antibiotics, Oxygen and a feeding tube. I went back the next day to see her sweet self. She was doing so good and making improvements every hour! She was discharged 3 days after she was born, great timing for a NICU baby.
