I’m so excited for today’s Tuesday Ten! I had a client back in December bring some Chalkboard signs to their Christmas Session (Thanks Amber) and they were created by SheShe Design. I fell in love. I started following Ashley on Facebook and Instagram and loving her work. I decided to have her make some boards for our Valentine Mini’s and I LOVE them. (So much that I decided to purchase one and keep it in my house 🙂 ) Today’s post is by Guest Blogger Ashley, owner of SheShe Design

My name
is Ashley Grieder of SheShe Design.

{Wife, Stay

creative is my passion & my family is my heart.©

For as
long as I can remember I’ve loved to draw, paint and create. My parents still
tell stories of finding my name and drawings on every piece of furniture that
we owned.

I was
accepted into the Art program at Utah State University and thought my path was
set.

However,
I found a passion for something else. I started a job working with adults with
disabilities. I switched my major to Special Education and my pencils and
brushes were put away…until…I became a Mom. Motherhood is the most fulfilling
and creative thing I’ve ever experienced. I’m head over heels for Miss H. We
decided that I would stay home to be with her. It wasn’t easy to leave teaching
but my job was now to teach her.

Now…this
is where SheShe Design was born. Every month I would post an adorable picture
of Miss H with a chalkboard that hung in her room.

The
chalkboard was used in our wedding and was also in my classroom.

Through
the power of social media, things started to snowball.

I did
birthday boards for a few friends and wedding décor chalkboards.

In
September, I decided to take a chance and open my Etsy shop.

Now that
we’ve gotten better acquainted, let me introduce you to SheShe Design.

First, a
big shout out and thank you to Stacey, for the opportunity to be featured on
her blog.

For “The
Tuesday Ten” I will be listing 10 SheShe Design Items. Some are listed in my
Etsy shop and others are custom orders. If you see something you are interested
in, all my information is listed at the bottom of this post.

Sealed Chalkboard Art:

•All boards are custom cut pieces of
solid wood, painted with black chalkboard paint.

•Hand Lettering designs are done with
Crayola Anti-dust chalk and sprayed with a matte finish to make the chalk
permanent and keep the chalkboard look intact.

•Each chalkboard is made to order and
hand drawn just for you.

•Display suggestions: Boards look great
on an easel, framed or I can attach a natural jute string for hanging

Chalkboard Prints:

•Chalkboard prints are the perfect
addition to your home décor or make the best gift. All designs are hand drawn
on a chalkboard surface and digitally converted for printing. This allows you
to have the chic rustic feel of a chalkboard without the dust.

•Professionally printed on 100 lb.
ultra white matte paper.

•Available in black and white or color
and sizes 5×7 or 8×10.

•Printed
locally in Utah.
•Framing & Display tips for Chalkboard Prints: To provide the most
realistic chalkboard look with your print, frame the print without the glass.
Place the glass behind the print to help support it.
**Note: items are NOT an
actually chalkboards.

3.
Custom Orders:

•If you have a favorite quote or design
in mind but don’t see it in my shop…No problem! A custom order can be
done just for you.

•Describe what you want. The options
are endless. I will sketch two ideas and then you can give me feedback
on what you would like the final design to look like.

•It’s unlikely ? but if for some reason
you don’t like what I come up with, you can request an additional sketch for an
additional charge.
•Payment is required before the
design process begins.

Chalkboard Art 2015 Calendar

Hello 2015! A New Year means you need a new Calendar!

•Each month has a hand drawn chalkboard design.
Each design is drawn on a chalkboard surface and digitally converted for
printing.
•Includes 13 months January to January
•available 9 x 11.5 or 12×12 inches
•bound with a quarter inch black coil for easy
folding
•Printed on 100 lb. ultra white paper with a
matte finish

Baby Birth day Information Chalkboard

•This board is a perfect gift, addition to the nursery or
great prop for newborn pictures.
•The board is created from a 12” x 12” piece
of solid wood, painted with black chalkboard paint.
•Hand Lettering is done with Crayola Anti-dust
chalk and sprayed with a matte finish to make the chalk permanent and keep the
chalkboard look intact.
•Each chalkboard is made to order and hand drawn
just for you.

Small variations may occur in the design.
•Display suggestions: Boards look great on an
easel, framed or I can attach a natural jute string for hanging.
•The board typically includes the following
information but is not limited to:
•full name
•day and date of birth
•time of birth
•city, state
•weight & height
•names of people to include in the
“welcomed by” section (this section is optional and can be left off
the board)

My Birthday Chalkboards

•My Birthday Chalkboards are great party decor or great prop
for birthday pictures.
•The board is created from a black foam
presentation board. Using a foam board verses an actually chalkboard keeps the
cost low and it’s easy to store after the party is over.

• The board can be cut to any size.
•Hand Lettering is done with Crayola Anti-dust
chalk and sprayed with a matte finish to seal and make the design permanent.
•Each chalkboard is made to order and hand drawn
just for you.

•Display suggestions: Boards look great on an easel, by
itself or framed (not included)

I was also inspired by vintage valentines. Their bright colors and fun cheesy
sayings just made me happy.
