Pre-Session Planning: Before the big day, we’ll work with you to choose a theme and set up the perfect backdrop. Our studio in Logan, Utah, is stocked with props, decorations, and everything you’ll need for a custom experience. If you have something specific in mind, we’re happy to collaborate with you to make it happen. We’ll also discuss your cake preferences and coordinate with local bakeries in Cache Valley if needed.
The Session Itself: We typically start with clean, classic portraits of your baby before introducing the cake. This gives you a variety of photos to choose from. Once the cake is brought out, the fun begins! Your baby gets to explore, play, and dig into their cake while we capture every adorable moment. Whether they’re laughing, clapping, or giving us their best frosting-covered grin, these candid shots are always a favorite. Even a cry is captured and happens more than you might think!
Clean-Up: Yes, cake smashes get messy—but that’s part of the fun! We’ll handle all the cleanup so you can focus on enjoying the moment with your little one.

Our sessions are designed to be baby-friendly, with plenty of time for breaks if needed.
