Throw Back Thursday – New Studio! | Logan Utah Photographer

I can’t imagine that anyone likes moving… or at least preparing to move. The picture below was our living room in August as we prepared to move from our Logan house to our recently purchased and new to us house in Hyrum. I was ecstatic to have a new house. If you know me personally you know that I lived with my parents for a few years after I was divorced then I moved into Andy’s (My boyfriends) house in Logan.. To own a house that I could actually call my own was a VERY BIG DEAL for me. That was one of my hardest issues when I got divorced was leaving my house. I couldn’t have been happier back in August when Andy and I purchased this house together. So the packing began…

Then the move into our house. I seriously love it here. And to think when we were looking at houses that I didn’t want to buy in Hyrum… I can’t imagine us anywhere else.

But one of the best parts about the new house, especially for my Photography business, is the room allocated just for my in home Studio. This is what it looked like during that first month. I wish I had a photo of the room at Andy’s house I was using for my Studio but back then I didn’t think about taking pictures to preserve my progress.
The studio layout has changed about 5 times or so with minor additions or moving things but it’s getting closer to the end and final Studio. I moved my desk and make room for a couch…

I ordered a couch but brought one in from our living room to use until mine got here…

Here are some “Prepping for Session” pictures…

And now… more changes are taking place! I’m super excited about them and pictures will be coming soon. If you haven’t been in my home studio you are welcome to come check it out! Contact me to schedule an appt!
