Welcoming a new baby into the world is such a special and fleeting moment in time. As a Cache Valley Newborn Photographer, I feel incredibly honored to document these early days for families across Logan, Utah, and the surrounding areas.
This little guy came into the studio a few months ago, and what a calm and sweet baby he was! From the moment he arrived, he was content and sleepy—making it possible for us to capture a wide variety of poses and setups. These sessions are designed to be gentle and baby-led, allowing plenty of time for soothing, feeding, and cuddling so baby stays comfortable throughout.
We started with those classic, cozy posed shots—tucked in on soft blankets with simple wraps and minimal props to keep the focus on his perfect little features. I love using neutral tones like creams and grays that are timeless and natural, while still letting baby’s personality shine through.
Then, we moved into some fun prop setups. He looked so sweet nestled in a little bucket and curled up in a tiny bed. I love how each pose shows different angles of his sweet face, tiny hands, and toes. These setups not only create variety in your gallery but also help preserve all the little details that change so quickly in those first few weeks.
As a Logan Utah Newborn Photographer, I strive to create an experience that’s as relaxed and stress-free as possible for families. Whether you’re a first-time parent or adding a new sibling to your crew, newborn photography sessions should feel calm and enjoyable. I’m always happy to walk families through what to expect and help them feel prepared.
Looking through this gallery again reminded me why I love this job so much. It’s not just about the photos—it’s about preserving memories, honoring milestones, and creating a space where families can just pause and soak it all in. I’m so grateful to serve as a Northern Utah Newborn Photographer and to meet wonderful families like this one.

About Our Studio Newborn Sessions
Studio newborn sessions are some of our absolute favorites at Stacey Hansen Photography! As a Cache Valley newborn photographer, we love working with families to capture those first sweet days.
Our studio, located in Logan, Utah, (Technically in River Heights, Utah) is calm, cozy, and perfect for newborn photography. It’s fully equipped with controlled lighting, beautiful props, clean backdrops, and a warm, soothing atmosphere. Because we manage every detail, we’re able to create timeless images with soft tones and beautiful setups.
Additionally, working with an experienced Utah newborn photographer means your session is always personalized. You’ll have access to a wide variety of props, wraps, backdrops, and curated setups. While many clients come to our Logan Utah studio, we also offer in-home lifestyle sessions. However, in-home sessions include a travel fee and fewer props—but they provide a relaxed, natural feel. If you prefer the full prop selection, studio sessions are the way to go.
Either way, we would love to photograph your little one. As your Logan Utah newborn photographer, we’re honored to preserve these special first moments.
